Co-founders of Theatr3 - Paul Jenkins and Tracy Harris have shared practice and worked intensively together for over 5 years forging a unique creative practice. They first collaborated as director and writer on the documentary performance 'Twenty16'. This show featuring 20 sixteen-year-olds from Powys, with little or no theatre experience, tells the story of the tumultuous 2016 through autobiographical testimony. It was raw, personal, political, powerfully authentic theatre. Developed as part of Theatr Iolo's Platfform programme the R&D sharing was supported through to full production at The Welfare, Ystradgynlais and Chapter, Cardiff. The show received rave responses from audiences and critics and was short-listed for the Wales Theatre Awards.
